Installer of Custom Maps is included, so the only thing you have to do is to launch Setup.exe!

The feature of Installer is also sorting a map list alphabetically in your game for better orientation, as well as uninstalling all files when you don't need them anymore!
The pack contains 99% of maps that are uploaded to |ETS|Server, so you can keep a pace with us every time!

Version 5.0, the exclusive ETS only pack is now published! We have tested all maps and all of them should be working! Some of maps have been also added & fixed by Columbo.

Version 5.0 Changes
• Some maps that were unplayable or crashing the server were removed
• Many more maps fixed thanks to Columbo
• Incompatible maps were replaced by compatible maps by induktio
• RMX maps now have prefix -RMX-, so it is easier to find them in map list

Important: Remove all custom maps using uninstaller script in your System folder before installing the map pack!

Version 4.0 Changes
• All not playable maps have been removed from the pack
• Objectives, RED spawns, bomb timers and colored-name issues have been fixed. (Note: RED spawn was only fixed if objectives wasn't working too)
• PvP maps (Barricaded suspects, VIP mod...) has been removed from COOP pack and will be available for download separately
• Added optional MD5 CheckSum feature (to make sure all maps were installer correctly)
• You are now being asked if you want to include already existing files in an uninstallation script

Version 3.0 Changes
• Completely new source for installer - maps should not miss textures (I hope)
• New map pack contains more maps (+80)
• Spelling errors in log file
• NOTE: If you are installing v3.0 over v2.1, remember to over-write all files!
• Today's small update: Files that would replace original files (vanilla maps, textures) have been removed to prevent causing the mismatch issue.

What's new in Version 2.0?
• Windows XP is now fully supported
• Script for removing (uninstalling) all installed files is now created in (game) System directory
• Cabinet archives (data_01.cab, data_02.cab, ...) are no longer encrypted and can be extracted manually
• You can now send a Log File to my email address using installer if your installation was not successful (I will try to help you out if I can!)
• Progress bar for single files has been added, so now you can watch extracting progress of each file (which is bigger then 3MB)
• Bug while checking free disk space has been fixed
• Improved notification about errors & Log file content is improved
• Other minor changes and bug fixes
• A few new maps and textures have been added

Hotfix changes for 2.0
1) Data content causing game memory overload has been removed
2) Useless textures have been removed
3) Files that are being installed with the game have been removed from data content
4) Un-installer that has been removing some of original files has been fixed (issue regarding to point #3)
5) Corrupted cabinet format causing non-continuity of cabinet archives has been fixed! Note: For those who have downloaded non-patched Version 2, you need to extract all 3 cab files manually to ContentExpansion folder.

Does anyone have any of these map/mod downloaders working on "Windows 8" OS? I have Windows 8 for a while now and most games before 2005 have some problems installing or running because there too old. Even in comparability mode they sometimes still don't work 100%.

I've tried to install the old VOWS downloader but even that fails due to it being made for Windows XP. Anyone have any idea how I can get these downloaders to work on my operating system?. Also every download link for this downloader is broken or wont load anymore.. think they all expired, anyone got a new download link?

There is no way I can test that, however, I think it should be working. Anyway, if there is problem with the installer, you still can extract archives manually, since they are not being encrypted as it was in previous versions. But still, there isn't that big difference between W7 and W8.. regarding to compatibility (imo).
