Greetings guys,

this is Enrico, alias indio68 on SWAT4, i played yesterday for the first time with some of you and for the second time on SWAT4 online, finally!! i wanted to play this great game online for years, but only a few days ago i was finally able to do this ,thanks to Shinobi Steam user (the same guy made a Petition to bring SWAT4 on Steam).i want apologize for my poor english, i'm italian,but i can assure all my deidition when playing with you co-op ..like i tried to do yesterday. i'm new to co-op so don't blame me if i make some mistakes..the guys i played yesterday were all kind and they teach me many things about RoE and pther rules.
I'm happy be here and want ask if i need to download some maps.i already have the famous Mappack for swat4..but yesterday 1 map (the Blackwater i guess) gave me an issue (somefiles weren't compatible so i can't join the game)..all the others we played was OK.so lwet me know if i need something else.

Hello Enrico and welcome to ETS! Nice to see that SWAT 4 still attracts new, tactical minded players, considering it's age As for making mistakes, don't worry, all you need is a will to learn, the rest will be taught to you by experienced players.

Your issue is probably that some custom maps are installed on your harddrive, while others are missing. I suggest you go to viewtopic.php?f=32&t=209 and download the map pack to make sure. It has installer .exe so simply follow the instructions, the rest should go by itself

wanna thanks all of you! your kindness is much appreciated!! i played some rounds with batika and other clan guys,and was awesome! you guys are tactical and i have much to learn, but this game is one of the best game i ever played!! i want give a try to SWAT3 too...i should have a CD copy somewhere..for the map issues i downloaded your mappack, using the option to overwrite existing files..and went fine..now i need to check if it's ok with blackwater map...

We don't have a permanent VIP server running, they're both in COOP mode, however we do VIP-Escort sessions from time to time (But don't expect me to participate, I hate that mode... )
If a session is planned it will be announced on the forum, you can also look under |ETS|SWAT 4 Events & Sessions Public Events

Well, you did pretty good while scanning and all, you learn very fast. Looking foward to meet you again on the server once I get bored of Battlefield 2

Thanks mate, i do my best to learn RoE and tactics..this game is wonderfull..if only they make a true sequel...someone played Raimbow siege? something good about it?.
u 'r playing battlefiled 2? the game gave for free by Origin? i played a lot in the past BF 1942...and a bit 2142...but no BF2 and i think the game origin gave was BF3which i don't liked so much.,.i played and ejoyed BF bad company 2..
and i have already installed Raimbow Six Vegas 2..it's not bad in Multiplayer..anyopne have it?

Well, you can get BF2 for free from battlelog.co, and I played Rainbow Six Siege at my friends' place and it's a pretty cool game, also I have 1942 on Origin too.

Nah, you don't need Origin to play it, just download it from here and voila
