New Forum Ranks?

I had an idea that we could possibly create forum ranks for non-clan members in our forum that would describe their overall activity and status.

Why?
There is really no reason for that to be honest. If somebody calls it completely useless, then be so. Yet, in my opinion, it might be a good looking change. I also believe it might raise forum activity a bit.

How?
Automatized process which would assign forum rank to user based on predefined conditions.

What ranks?
There for example


- total post count >= 50


- total post count >= 100


-total post count >= 200


- forum member for more than a year AND total post count >= 100


- forum member for less than 14 days AND total post count < 50


- banned users

I also have other ranks in mind, for example "Troublemaker" - people with forum warning. Then we could have something like a "reporter" (forum member with at least 25% of his posts in player compaints section). The last one I have in mind is "Inactive", which would simply mark inactive forum users that did not login within last 6 months.
Whatever you come up with, I should be able to programm.

Looks like a good idea to me, giving ranks to non-members based on activity. Does Expelled mean they're banned from the server or banned from the forum?

I do not plan to make anything special accessible to gold posters or so. If you have something in mind, share it.

I totally like these new Ranks they sure make people that post alot quite possibly responsible of keeping the forum active. I was also wandering maybe that we should add Safeguard Ranks meaning that specialist ranks to certain people possibly handling with issues with Harassment on forums and also on Servers, and some other things ranks that can allow non members tell us certain members if they are not comfortable telling lets say Sgts or Cpls or Cpts etc etc. Not that it happends at all but this can also add additional responsibility to members who are for these specialist ranks
